New Pet?

Found this chap outside the back door the other day; an Elephant Hawk Moth caterpillar. I was very pleased to welcome it and this is the 2nd time I've found one in the garden although, sadly, I've never see the moth itself (need to sit in the garden more in the evenings maybe?). Apparently they like Fuchsia and gooseberry bushes - I have one of each and it's a truly big caterpillar so if more arrive I don't think the bushes would last very long!!
